Our team provides independent third-party inspection and QA consulting to petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, and fabrication operators. Based in Edmonton, we bring senior-level API and CWB-certified expertise directly to every client engagement.
Our team holds API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector) and API 570 (Piping Inspector) certifications for in-service inspection. We also hold CWB Level 2 for welding inspection and WPS/PQR review.
Norman QC operates as a focused senior-led team. Clients work directly with the senior team on every assignment — no junior staff and no subcontractors.
Assignments include Alberta field work, remote document review, and source inspection or turnaround support by request.

CERTIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
API 510 — Pressure Vessel Inspector
Issuing body: American Petroleum Institute
Scope: In-service inspection of pressure vessels per ASME Section VIII. Renewed every 3 years.
API 570 — Piping Inspector
Issuing body: American Petroleum Institute
Scope: In-service inspection of piping systems per ASME B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8. Renewed every 3 years.
CWB Level 2 — Welding Inspector
Issuing body: Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB Group)
Scope: Welding inspection, WPS/PQR document review, welder qualification oversight per CSA and ASME standards. Enables independent review of welding documentation on fabrication and construction projects.

For field work: our team mobilises to your site on agreed dates. For remote review: you send documents by email or shared folder. For source inspection: our team coordinates directly with your fabrication vendor.

All inspection and review work is documented in a professional report, signed and issued as a PDF. Reports are formatted for regulatory submission, client records, and project documentation.
